Current Reviews:

From the Booksunlimited/I website:

"One the best short story books I have ever read!" Hugo Valenciano, Excellent (Rated 5 out of 5)

From the Borders website:

"Si! I recommend this book because it's one of the best short story collections that I've read in my life; I'm a Spanish teacher in California's public schools and can professionally say that the author of Toda Una Vida Contando has captured the real meaning of life and translated it to the written page so we can all share surprises, emotions, tears and laughs with him... yes, this book is one of the best buys I've done in these uncertain times when we have to distract our minds out of daily problems.". Helen Barrientos, Educator 5 out of 5 Average Rating.

From the Barnes and Noble website:

" My Spanish is not that good, but a Latin friend gave me a copy of Toda Una Vida Contando and I have really enjoyed reading it still I had to use the dictionary several times, the language on some sentences can get too complicated for me, but the stories are fascinating... I have learned a lot about Latin people from this new book, I recommend it", Maurice Cohen, Savannah, Georgia. Reader Rating
"This is one of the best books in Spanish language I've read in the last few years. So good, that it took away from the internet for several days.I needed the break!!" Helen Gomez, a college professor Reader Rating

"They say that poetry is dead, that opera is dead, that short story is dead... it could be, but this book Toda Una Vida Contando revives the story telling, at least in Spanish language, for now. Andres Rivero treats the genre with expertise, without sacrificing interest, excitement, simplicity of language, mastery of the surprising ending. Reading Rivero I couldn't stop thinking of a new O. Henry or a John Updike of the Spanish language. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it for anyone, from the high school student to the retiree who still enjoys reading a good book. This is it!" George Salinas, avid reader Reader Rating

From the Borders/UK website:

"I bought this book for my son who's at Oxford and read it before I sent it to him... what a great collection of short stories in Spanish language! I'm ordering my own copy and donating another one to my local library", Rene Vizcaino, Salamanca, España Excellent Collection 5 out of 5

From the Bookfinder4u website:

"I have enjoyed reading and sharing with my students the many short stories in Toda Una Vida Contando; Andres Rivero is a great writer, precise, funny, sarcastic, knowledgeable, cultured, simply brilliant. I enthusiastically recommend this book", Amelia Diaz-Hudson, High School Spanish Teacher, Denver, Colorado. Great book

"A great deal of stories well written kept me reading this book for quite a while... when I had to stop, I didn't want to put it too far so I could comeback to it quickly... that's what I call a good book". Lucy Martinez from Chicago. Good Reading

"Great book!" Milagros Stone, San Francisco, California. Spanish Jewel
